About the Bows

All of our bows are handmade with quality grosgrain and satin ribbons here in Australia. The ends of the the ribbons are sealed to prevent freying for that boutique finish. Each bow is hand tied and attached securely to a quality metal pinch clip that sits securley in even the finest hair. Each bow comes on a professionally printed swing tag. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction.

How we came about

I have been making hair bows for my two little girls - Perry 6, Harrie 4, and now Frankie 2 weeks since they were born. I was always stopped in the street and asked where I got their bows. From there I started selling them in a local childrens wear store, and the rest is history.

As for our name - Boys Don't Wear Bows - Perry gets all of the credit!! We were sitting around our kitchen table, making bows and I said that one day we would have a bow in every little girls hair in Australia, and then who knows........every little boys hair too!!! Perry was quite disturbed and said, "Mum.....boys don't wear bows" and rolled her eyes in disgust. And that was just the sort of catchy business name we were after.
